Where to invest in the mountains: choosing the right location

Whatever region you wish to invest in, the right location is always one close to amenities. In the mountains, this means choosing a ski-in, ski-out residence, or one in the heart of the resort, where you won’t need a car - ski lifts can be accessed directly from the residence.  If the residence is not in the centre, you need to be sure that it is close to shops and services or has good public transport links.

Prefer an apartment close to the slopes

Once you have chosen the resort that suits you best, the next step is to choose the perfect location within the resort. Proximity to the slopes is one of the first things to consider when thinking about where to invest in the mountains. For many people, staying in a ski-in, ski-out apartment is a dream come true. An apartment close to all local amenities: expert’s advice

Property experts confirm that the ideal location should have easy and fast access to all the main services of the resort. Places that are far from the centre should therefore be avoided if you are aiming for a profitable rental investment in the mountains. If the residence is not ski-in, ski-out, then it is crucial to think about the shuttle buses available for residents. Opting for an apartment a little out of the centre, but well served by public transport can be a good choice for a worthwhile investment.
